Abstractions – Sydney Shimko

A badger?

For reference, Kitty is my aunt.

Maia walked out of her bedroom today with a toy phone and said, “Kitty just called me and told me she had a badger in her yard.” I sat for a minute speechless and smirking, previously unaware that she knew what a badger was. Then she didn’t understand what I thought was so strange and funny, so she proclaimed, “… that’s what we had for dinner!”

Where does she come up with this stuff?
